Look what I found in my mailbox today
Yep that is right 2 brand new Cricut cartridges, Flower shoppe and Sweet treat box!!!!
I have been in my studio all evening playing with these 2 carts, I could not wait until I got home from errands so I could play!
I will be posting pictures of my first project later this week or early next week
Super excited to finally have these carts in my hands

A new addition to my scrapbook room
I love scrap~booking and sometimes I want to display my layouts instead of hiding them away inside of an album!
What a perfect solution(I forgot where I originally found the idea)
It is simply a curtain rod from Walmart and some drapery rings also from Walmart, page protectors with the holes carefully trimmed off and wallah I now have a wall of fame for my scrapbook layouts!!!

A box using my gypsy
I have seen nothing but the cutest boxes on blogs, made using the cricut! I decided i wanted to make one too:)
I did not have any cartridges that made a box but not to worry my gypsy came to the rescue
I used George and basic shapes to create the inside boxes and plantin schoolbook to create the flower
I used my scor-pal to create the outer box
a side view of the box
Side view of the flower to show how many layers was used in making the flower pop off the box!
close up of the flower(I love how it turned out)
the inside of the box, complete with some note-cards, a stamp set (to decorate the note cards) and a altered note pad with matching pen!
I hope you like it and it gives you inspiration to make one too!
Happy crafting!
